A Gap in the Hedgerow (from Midsummer: East Yorkshire) by David Hockney

£16.99

Artist: David Hockney

A Gap in the Hedgerow is a single  image from Midsummer: East Yorkshire, originally presented by David Hockney as a series of 36 watercolours. David Hockney worked in pre-mixed colour so he could work as fast as possible, and didn’t allow himself the comfort of any underdrawing in pencil. The result has a fresh and vivid beauty.

We have produced a full set of the 36 images in postcard format, and 4 posters - of which this is one. Hang the whole set of 4 and enjoy their understated beauty. Search 'Midsummer' to see the others.

Text along the base of the poster reads: David Hockney Midsummer East Yorkshire Salts Mill Saltaire

Unframed dimensions of print (including legend): approximately 57 x 45 cm

(We do sell this poster framed, but only for collection at Salts Mill.  If you're interested, please contact us.)

This is an authorised David Hockney poster, produced by Salts Mill, for Salts Mill. Please hang away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
