The Beatles The White Album Limited Edition Pen and Card Case (numbered edition of 1000)

£106.95

We are very pleased to be able to offer a very small number of limited edition Beatles roller ball pen and card case sets for sale. They are licensed by Apple Corps Ltd (2011) and are official Beatles™ products. Each set has its own edition number.

This White Album pen and card case set is one of thirteen sets, each based on one of the Beatles iconic thirteen albums. Packaged in a mini album cover with magnetic closure that opens like a CD case to reveal the pen and card case inside. Presented inside a protective black slipcase.

The design has been overseen by Rod Dyer who was a young art director at Capitol Records when Let It Be became the Beatles swan song. Dyer himself went on to work in the office of Charles & Ray Eames.

The roller ball pens are of the usual high Acme standard.  They are made of German components with hand applied lacquer over brass with a serial number laser engraved on the mid-ring. The card cases (suitable for credit cards or business cards) are silver plated steel also laser serial numbered with an epoxy top. The pens and card cases come in presentation boxes with the sleeve of the record on the front, these also feature the edition number and fascimilie (printed) signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.  On the back of the box there is some chart data and the track listing of The White Album.

The pens are made by Acme in China.

Please note, due to stock levels you may not receive the same edition number as the pen in the photographs. If you would like to know which edition numbers we currently have, please contact us - and remember if you'd like to see the pens in real life, you can do so at Salts Mill, Saltaire - just get in touch and we'll make sure to have some out for you to inspect. Thank you.
