And relax....

Bring a sense of wonder to your desk as you restart your brain with this irresistible rotating paperweight. Spinning this illusion device - made of unglazed bone china with a ball-bearing spinning mechanism - creates a mesmerising effect that is both calming and addictive.

De La Hera Gomez devised this intricate design through mathematical and spatial analysis to morph from an orderly gridded pattern to a dynamic swirling motif when in motion. A brilliant gift for anyone who's chained to their desk or needs to rest their gaze away from a screen.

The Illusion Spinner was designed by Oscar De La Hera Gomez for the Products of Design collaboration between MoMA and the School of Visual Arts. The SVA X MoMA project is a collaboration between the Museum of Modern Art, New York and MFA Products of Design students at the School of Visual Arts, NY. The collaboration is dedicated to the study and pursuit of contemporary needs and design’s ability to solve problems.
