The Batterie de Cuisine tea towel comes in a lovely box, making a gorgeous gift.  Made in Ireland from 100% Irish linen, 44x67cm

Lucienne Day is Britain's most distinguished textile designer of the 20th Century. Her work is recognised through a multitude of awards and is an essential part of museums worldwide.

The Lucienne Day teatowel designs, originally launched in 1962, encapsulate the sensitive, organic and progressive talent of one of Britain's true and lasting creative spirits.

This design differs from the repeat-pattern of much of Lucienne's other design.

Though not undermining the functionality and everyday value, the Lucienne Day teatowel works as a stand-alone artwork, as well as a household tool. Some customers love their Lucienne tea towel designs so much they frame them and hang them on the kitchen wall.
