Cataloguing All Living Beings - Limited Edition Signed Print by Simon Palmer

£360.00

Artist: Simon Palmer

Cataloguing all Living Beings is a signed limited edition print by Simon Palmer, one of Britain’s leading watercolour artists.

Like other British artists before him, Palmer draws a spiritual connection from the land in a specific place – in his case his beloved Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. Anyone visiting Wensleydale will recognise Palmer country: the narrow lanes, railway bridges, the drystone walls and winding fencing, stone churches and farms, ancient trees and new saplings. The artist’s connection with his much-loved home and the world of his imagination unfettered by current trends and opinions lets him see what others do not. In this sense he is a visionary painter.

We have shown Palmer’s work at Salts Mill for almost 30 years. He has exhibited extensively with frequent one-man exhibitions at the Portland Gallery, London. He has also shown at Crane Kalman Gallery, Mercer Art Gallery and Glyndebourne. Palmer is an Honorary Member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.

A selection of signed limited edition prints by Simon Palmer are currently on display in Salts Diner here at Salts Mill. Cataloguing all Living Things will generally be amongst them, though if you would like to examine this specific print in person please contact us to check beforehand, details below.
