Eames House: An Appreciation of the work of Charles & Ray Eames (book & model)

Author: James Barkley

The perfect gift for anyone with a passion for midcentury design, this is a book that's now very collectable and hard to find. We have just 3 copies remaining.

Beautifully presented and meticulously finished, Eames House won many awards. Author James Barkley presents and examines the work of Charles & Ray Eames, and includes over 100 never before published photographs and illustrations. The book features 3 perforated, scored model sheets which can be easily assembled (without any glue or scissors) into a fantastic model of the Eames' famous house, created with exceptional detail; from the interior decoration to exterior shadows cast from nearby trees!

Please note that due to its age (printed in 2000) the matte plastic portfolio envelope in which Eames House is presented is now cracking, yellowing and showing signs of age. The contents are in perfect condition.

Presented in a matte plastic portfolio envelope which, as stated above, is showing signs of age. Book size : A3. Dimensions of completed model:  39cm wide; 9cm deep, 8cm high.
