Black Leaf tea towel - des. Lucienne Day, 1959

£18.50

Lucienne Day is Britain's most distinguished textile designer of the 20th Century. Her work is recognised through a multitude of awards and is an essential part of museums worldwide. 'Black Leaf' won a Design Centre Award in 1960 and we think today it looks even better than ever. Bright whites, acid yellows, dramatic black lines - some customers love it so much they get it framed. It certainly makes drying the dishes less of a chore.

The Lucienne Day tea towel designs, originally launched in 1959, encapsulate the sensitive, organic and progressive talent of one of Britain's true and lasting creative spirits.

Dimensions: 48w x d x 73h. Made in Ireland using 100% linen.

The Black Leaf tea towel is part of the Lucienne Day Collection®  made under licence from the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.
