Still Life, Taj Hotel, Bombay 1977 poster by David Hockney (Grey Art Gallery, New York, 1980) - smaller size

Artist: David Hockney

A glorious original (archive / vintage) exhibition poster, produced in 1980 for David Hockney's exhibition at the Grey Art Gallery and Study Center, April 3 - May 3 1980.

This poster reproduces Hockney's beautiful drawing of 1977 Still Life, Taj Hotel, Bombay. A real favourite of ours over the years, this is an image of repose that's also ripe with possibility. Jacket, panama hat, sketch books, briefcase: adventure awaits! Our favourite detail? The little British Airways tag dangling from the handle of the case.

Note, larger size available on a creamier paper, see separate product entry

Approximate dimensions: 71 x 50cm

Overall condition is excellent - minute scuff to bottom right corner, small ink speckles at one side and virtually indistinguishable mark at top left corner -  all barely noticeable.

This is an authorised David Hockney poster. It's an archive / vintage poster, printed in 1980, now collectable and in very short supply. It is sold as new, like all our posters - ie it is not on the secondary market.  Please hang away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. We send out posters rolled in tubes.
