Characterised by the opening in the backrest, this defining feature provides greater comfort while giving its appearance a sense of lightness and transparency. Featuring slim tubular legs that combine stability with an elegant aesthetic, all chair components can be fully disassembled to extend its lifespan and enable refurbishment for long-term use. The shell and seat are crafted from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and offered in a wide range of colours, with the frame available with a chrome or powder coated finish, making Layout a versatile and durable seating solution ideal for offices, restaurants, public institutions, and domestic settings. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Home met Julien in Denmark at the launch where he told us that he was particularly pleased with the underside of the chair. These two different educations have helped to form his approach to his work – a combination of objective and rational methods with artistic and personal freedom. Currently based from his studio in Brussels, Julien’s ability to find inspiration everywhere means he is not afraid to beautify the ordinary. Convinced that all objects have a subconscious effect on our daily lives, Julien manifests the interconnection between objects and their surroundings in his designs, which he creates for a number of international brands.
