Mrs Fillyjonk loves things to be clean and orderly. She cleans her house neurotically and is at her best when organizing a spring cleaning. Mrs Fillyjonk finds the nooks where dust likes to hide and lets soap do the rest. A psychiatrist arriving in Moominvalley manages to cure Mrs Fillyjonk’s cleaning complex. When Fillyjonk’s house begins to fall into disrepair, Moominmamma decides to cure Mrs Fillyjonk with her own ingenious methods. She writes a telegram, delivered to Mrs Fillyjonk by her excited children. The telegram explains that a committee of women will visit Fillyjonk’s house. This way, Moominmamma succeeds in restoring Mrs Fillyjonk’s love of cleaning.
