Jacobsen's stepson, Peter Holmblad, was at that time the owner of Stelton and had a deep desire for Jacobsen to design a complete series for Stelton. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eArne Jacobsen's vision for Cylinda-line was that the series should enrich the ordinary consumer through a design demonstrating perfect proportionality between form and function.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e The key components of the design were the cylindrical shapes and specially designed handles in Bakelite. Today, more than five decades later, Cylinda-line is recognised as an iconic and timeless classic.
