Studs & Crooks celebrates the history of the famous Kilnsey show, which has grown from humble beginnings in 1897 to become one of the biggest one-day agricultural shows in the country.

The book was the brainchild of Kilnsey Estate owner Jamie Roberts, whose family has been involved in the show for four generations, and writer Victoria Benn. Their research has uncovered stories from farmers, Dales people and sports people, including celebrated international show jumper Harvey Smith. Studs and Crooks is designed with charm and contains some lovely photos, both old and new, of this beautiful part of Yorkshire.
