£34.95

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish architect, designer, and artist and was one of the most important figures in the Modern Style, an Art Nouveau movement specific to Great Britain.

In 1903 Mackintosh was asked to design the interior and exterior of The Willow Tearooms in Glasgow. Within the existing structure, Mackintosh designed a range of spaces with different functions and décor along with a new external façade. This piece is one of Mackintosh’s preliminary designs for the mural decoration of the first floor of the tearooms.
