Q: How much does postage cost?

A: You will be given a price for postage during the online checkout process, but you can also use the following table as a guide to the delivery pricing:

To keep postage prices as reasonable as possible we have done our best to accurately match actual postage costs with the postage price charged through our website. In some rare instances the price quoted and charged for postage may differ from the actual cost due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens we will contact you to discuss, as we may have to charge you an additional amount to help cover the difference. In this instance you will have the right to cancel your order. 

Q: Do you deliver products internationally?
A: Yes, we do.  We will happily deliver our products to most countries. If you have any questions about this, visit the contact us page and send us an email.

Q: How do I use your Reserve and Collect service?
A: Place your order via the website and when you get to the delivery choices simply select the Reserve and Collect option. Your order will be available to collect from the 1853 Gallery on the ground floor at Salts Mill when you receive dispatch notification. Please  come to the main desk in the 1853 Gallery at the railway station / Victoria Road end of the building. Make sure you bring along the order confirmation email (either on your phone or as a print out) with you when you come to collect. Q: How do you deliver orders?
A: We use the following methods to send out your order:

Orders up to the weight of 750g and small enough to be sent as a large letter (currently 35.3cm x 25cm x 2.5cm) - First Class (normally delivered in 1-2 working days from dispatch)
Orders over 750g and / or larger than large letter - Couriers including DHL (posters) and UKMail (requires signature on delivery)

Europe and Rest of World:
Orders up to the weight of 750g and small enough to be sent as a large letter (currently 35.3cm x 25cm x 2.5cm) - Royal Mail Airmail (normally delivered in 3-5 working days from dispatch for Western Europe and 5-10 working days for everywhere else)
Orders over 750g and / or larger than large letter - Couriers including DHL and UPS (both require signature on delivery)

Q: Why does it cost so much to send a poster / print? 

A: All our unframed posters / prints are sent out rolled and packed in tubes to prevent creasing. Mail services and courier companies are not keen on tubes - they like stackable things with corners! So the postage prices for tubes have always been surprisingly high. If you order multiple posters you'll find the postage doesn't alter much because it's sending the tube that is incurring the cost; the posters themselves don't usually weigh very much.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Delivery times for orders vary depending on how they are dispatched. As a guide, you can read the 'How do you deliver orders?' question above, for specific timescales. Please note that it can sometimes take an extra day or two at busier times (including Christmas and Mother's Day) or if you live in a more remote area.

Q: Can you deliver urgently?
A: We don't as standard, but we always try and accommodate any special delivery requirements. If you're in a huge hurry, phone us on 01274 531163.

Q: I think my product(s) got lost in the post, what do I do?
A: Visit the contact us page and send us an email with your order number so that we can try and track down where your order got to. We will be in touch with you shortly afterwards to let you know what to do.

Q: I have just placed an order - when will it be shipped?
A: We attend to online orders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings (we are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day). Provided the items you have purchased are in stock we will do our utmost to ensure that your order is shipped within 2 working days of order placement. You will be notified by email when you order shipping status changes - keep an eye on your account to see when your order is shipped.
