David Hockney became entranced by the idea of Ravel's Garden whilst designing his L'Enfant et les Sortileges for the Met Opera in New York in 1981. This is a poster of a large painting of Ravel’s Garden that David Hockney created at Salts Mill at the entrance to a display of his opera sets.
