Salts Mill Poster by David Hockney
£8.99
Hockney - who rarely paints the exterior of buildings - celebrates Salts here, in a work glowing with colour.
In summer 1997, David Hockney was visiting his sick friend, Jonathan Silver, the founder of the modern day incarnation of Salts Mill. Jonathan urged David to paint Yorkshire. A series of oils began to appear, including this one of Salts itself. These wonderful pictures are a celebration of life, love and landscape.
