Bauhaus Cradle, des Peter Keler 1922, crafted as a collectors' miniature replica by Naef

Carefully crafted at a scale of 1:7, this collectors piece is a replica of Peter Keler's iconic 1922 cradle, designed during his apprenticeship at the Bauhaus. Simple and scaled down, composed of two blue circles (rings), red rectangles and yellow triangles, the cradle symbolises the Bauhaus design particularly well, because colour, form and composition were elements of Bauhaus theory. The cradle was part of the bedroom furniture for the model house "Am Horn".

The small cradle is congruent to the original in colour, shape and proportions at a scale of 1: 7, and to a large extent, has been carefully crafted by hand.

Size: approx diameter of 13 cm x 14 cm

Materials: Metal, composite mineral surface material, woven rattan, cavalry twill (milled wool fabric)
