This one is rather moving.
The illustration of the Moomin family’s happy reunion in front of the Moominhouse is based on Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin and Family Life from 1955. In this story, Moomintroll nearly drowns. Luckily, Moominmamma and Moominpappa rescue him. While sipping a drink, he recognises the mug from his childhood, and they realise he is Moominmamma’s and Moominpappa’s long-lost son!
