Studies From the Human Body poster by Francis Bacon

This large Francis  Bacon poster was produced in 1980 by the Marlborough Gallery in New York. It features part  of his painting Studies from the Human Body: A Triptych (1979.) This part of the work depicts a solitary figure lying on a table in the centre of a room, with a backdrop of darkness. This painting exemplifies Bacon's interest in capturing the complexities of the human body and the condition.
