Fish & Chip Shop (1954) Mini Framed by David Hockney
£27.50
This is a small, framed reproduction of one of David Hockney’s earliest and most evocative prints. He created the original lithographs in 1954 when he was 16 or 17 and studying at Bradford College of Art.
Visitors to the Sea Catch chippy in Eccleshill, Bradford back in the day may recall one of the originals hanging above the deep fat fryer – the hungry young artist gave it to the owners in thanks for scraps.
This print looks great hung on the wall, or prop it up on our lovely Rhine Table Easel.
