Interiors (1981) exhibition poster by Richard Hamilton

This 1981 Hamilton poster is the archives of Galerie Maeght. It advertises Hamilton's 'Interiors' show at Galerie Maeght, 14 rue de Teheran, Paris, France. The exhibition was from 22 January to 6 March, 1981.This image was created by Hamilton in a response to a hunger strike organised by jailed IRA members during the Thatcher years. The artist designed the poster himself. The late, great Hamilton - never afraid to ask a difficult question or offer a challenging answer - continues to make us all think.
