Philippe Starck: Cafe Costes poster

£30.00

This poster shows a plan through the five floors of Philippe Starck's game-changing designs for the Cafe Costes, Paris. It was 1984 and Paris had never seen anything like it. So  postmodern,  Starck claimed his design was channeling "Budapest railway station third-class waiting room circa 1956". Cafe Costes is long gone, but it changed Cafe culture forever.
