The Mediterranean Years (Paloma Debout) poster by Pablo Picasso

This beautiful large poster featuring Picasso's Paloma Debout (1954) was produced by Gagosian in 2010.

It was printed in conjunction with the exhibition Picasso: The Mediterranean Years (1945–1962) at Gagosian, Britannia Street, London.  The exhibition focused on the postwar years in which Picasso began to spend more time in the South of France, returning to the Mediterranean setting that had nourished some of his most important stylistic changes in the past. This is a portrait of Paloma Picasso - the artist’s daughter with Françoise Gilot - who was born in 1949 in Vallauris, France.
