About Aldo Londi
The Bitossi family had been making ceramics for hundreds of years, but when Aldo Londi joined them in 1946 they became internationally known. Londi was with Bitossi for fifty years, first as a painter, then as artistic director, and finally as tireless researcher of styles and examples to be emulated. His work is immediately recogniseable: always fresh, always sharp, always inviting.
