Hedgehog Vase (ABA 1) by Nuove Forme (exclusive)

We're the only UK stockists Nuove Forme, who produced this stunning  handmade Italian vase. At the time of writing you can come and see the range displayed in our vast UNESCO World Heritage Site showroom. 

Nuove Forme started up in 1993 by a group including the granddaughter of the great ceramicist Alvino Bagni, whose work they set out to celebrate, reproduce and reinterpret for our times. 

The pattern on this vase is part of Ceramiche Bagni's history. It's an extremely complex work, thrown by hand on a potter's wheel.  The design is drawn on the surface and then each dot is applied by hand with a special tool. The combination of complex execution and understated linearity creates a unique, elegant piece.
