To create the Carte Blanche range for Serax, Dutch designer Annebet Philips first cut playful, almost childlike prototypes from cardboard before literally transforming them into porcelain, while keeping their fold lines and uneven edges. Hand-painted, irregular lines further accentuate the spontaneity of the designs. The result is a uniquely playful collection that captures the magic of the very first idea.
