Designed for Alessi by Marta Sansoni in 2003, the CACTUS! Fruit Bowl 29cm diameter in black steel makes a stylish and useful centrepiece. The distinctive steel fretwork represents a series of overlapping leaves. Sansoni's CACTUS! range has become one of the most representative objects of Alessi's expertise in the processing of perforated steel.

About Marta Sansoni and the CACTUS! collection:
Marta Sansoni, an architect and designer living in Florence (Italy). Sansoni has participated in several national and international design exhibitions and competitions including the 1990 Memory Containers with Alessi. In the field of architecture, she has realised projects for new buildings in Florence and many projects of interior architectural design for private houses, shops, restaurants coffee shops, wine-bars and offices in Italy and abroad. In the design area, she has realised for Alessi two articulated families of objects (CACTUS!, Ba-Rock) and a series of individual objects.
