Thermometer des. Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen

Perfectly combining both form and function, the beautiful Koppel thermometer wastes no time on unnecessary details. One of Georg Jensen’s most prolific and influential designers, Henning Koppel, created this thermometer to be easy to read, minimal and very stylish. The result is a design icon.

The thermometer’s clear white face accurately shows the temperature in degrees Celsius, whilst the minimal circular case is stainless steel giving a totally modern appearance.

Throughout the twentieth century, Henning Koppel became a defining name in the Danish modernism movement, designing timeless and understated pieces for Georg Jensen. His silverware, watches, cutlery and vases look as fresh today as they did when first created.
