This revolutionary espresso maker combines the technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, Pulcina encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that dispenses the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker, Italian for chick) allows it stop drips and drops.

Espresso maker in aluminium casting. Red PA handle and knob. magnetic steel base suitable for induction cooking - but if using an induction hob please check it will switch on when an item of at least 90mm is placed on it.
