1982 World Cup Poster (Espana '82) by Eduardo Chillida

This superb archive / vintage poster was printed in 1982, emblazoned with Chillida's powerful monochrome artwork. It was created to to celebrate that year's World Cup which was held across Spain; this poster hones in on the matches held in Bilbao. 

Chillida was a great footballer. He was goalkeeper for Real Sociedad until a knee injury ended his promising career. Sport lost, art won.
