A Year in Normandie Postcard Frame (3 images / portrait)
We have created these Light Oak / Ash-look Polcore frames to go with David Hockney's A Year in Normandie postcards. They won't fit any other postcards. The apertures, which are hand-cut into a creamy white mounting board, are made to precisely fit these unusually sized cards - about 25cm x 8.7cm
This particular frame has 3 apertures which are landscape style as per the Normandie postcard images. The frame itself hangs portrait style.
You can buy a set of the Normandie cards and change them along with the seasons, or pick your favourites and sent the rest to friends! This frame makes a lovely gift along with a set of the postcards, which need to be purchased separately - they're not included. The postcard in the photograph is just there to show you what it looks like when framed.
It comes with a clipped backing board for you to remove, insert your postcards and replace. There is hanging rope attached to the back. Wall fixings (e.g. nails or picture hooks) are not supplied.
Dimensions: the frame itself is 2.3cm deep. The entire frame is 38 cm wide and 44cm long.
The frames are built exclusively for us and the mounts are cut in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Materials: The frame is made from Light Oak / Ash-look Polcore. Polcore is made from 70% recycled polystyrene, made up of waste products from 2 main sources - the electronics industry and plastic packaging. It contains no detectable formaldehyde or carcinogenic substances and is free from lead. The manufacturing process is clean.
