Walter Gropius: Bauhaus, Dessau poster

A large poster showing different elevations of the Bauhaus building in Dessau, designed by Walter Gropius. A picture to hang on your wall and fire your imagination: remake the world!

Gropius had a radical concept: to reimagine the material world to reflect the unity of all the arts. The story of the Bauhaus has been written and re-written a million times, but the ongoing cultural legacy of this extraordinary place - and indeed the ongoing legacy of its individual teaching staff and students such as Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Anni and Josef Albers and Paul Klee to name but few -  reaches beyond words.

Approximate dimensions: 100 X 70 cm.
