Cool Hand Luke poster by Bill Gold

The iconic 1967 prison drama ‘Cool Hand Luke’ was directed by Stuart Rosenberg and based on Donn Pearce’s novel of the same name. The film starred American actor Paul Newman as a prisoner in a Florida prison camp who refuses to submit to the system. This poster design was created by American graphic designer Bill Gold who produced designs for some of Hollywood’s greatest films.
