Emma Electric Kettle - Pale Blue, 1.2 litres - des. HolmbäckNordentoft for Stelton
The Emma electric kettle has a beautiful pale blue steel jug with a beech wood handle that gives it a characteristic Nordic look. Much copied - but no-one has got close to the elegance of the original.
The cordless kettle can hold 1.2 L and is supplied with a removable limescale filter, dry boil safety switch and switches off automatically when the water has boiled.
Sebastian Holmbäck and Ulrik Nordentoft met at the Danish Design School, where they both trained. Almost a decade after graduation they established the HolmbäckNordentoft studio. Their common ground, and the basis for all their work, is aesthetics. The studio works in a wide range of design areas, including interior design, industrial design and product design, which is their primary focus
Minimalist design, maximalist quality and functionality: Danish company Stelton has captured the hearts of consumers since the late 1960s. With iconic, award-winning designs like the Cylinda-line by Arne Jacobsen (1967) and the Em77 Vacuum jug by Erik Magnussen (1977), Stelton is all about design classics. We've sold their products for decades.
