The Great Northern Women Colouring Book by Diana Matos Gagic - signed

£7.99

This copy of the frankly marvellous Northern Women Colouring Book has been signed by the author and illustrator, Diana Matos Gagic. It's all about celebrating the powerhouse of pioneering women in the ‘herstory’ of the North of England. (If you enjoy this colouring book, Diana has also created one devoted to the Brontës; search 'Brontë Colouring Book' on this site if you'd like to find it.)

Here are musicians, artists, pilots, politicians, writers, scientists, businesswomen, sportswomen, activists, innovators and mould breakers, some you’ve heard of, and some you haven’t. You may know of Anne Lister, the Brontë sisters and Britain’s first astronaut Helen Sharman, but some names are less well known, such as Liverpudlian Olympic swimmer Hilda James who introduced the front crawl to the UK or Lilian Bader (also from Liverpool), who was the first known Black woman to join the RAF.

Step back in time and colour in these original hand drawn illustrations inspired by  pioneering women from the North of England.

This is a paperback, made with sustainably sourced uncoated paper and suitable for colouring in using pens, pencils and crayons of your choosing.
