Rebel Rose A3 Textile Archive Print - edition of 50

This beautiful limited edition print reproduced a textile design originally created in 1934. The elegant blooms float in a clusters of stars almost as if studded into the night sky - yet the look of a zip edging  around the blooms suggests a rebelliousness, even an unexpected quantum leap that zooms forwards towards the spirit of punk. We love the production notes, scrawled across the top of the design in a French hand that is tres elegante.

This screenprint has been lovingly restored and digitally reproduced from the original design. It has been made using ethically sourced materials. Printed in the UK on bamboo paper made from 90% sustainable bamboo fibres and 10% cotton rag: environmentally friendly paper with a natural look, giving the print a lightly textured and sensual feel.
