Robot and Bear poster by Jonas Wood

This hugely appealing poster features Robot and Bear (2024) by Jonas Wood, one of our favourite contemporary artists. Robot and Bear features the artist’s dogs (past and present) transported into an apartment from the pages of an interior design magazine, looking out over Los Angeles.

The poster was produced by Gagosian in 2024, in conjunction with the exhibition Jonas Wood at Gagosian, Grosvenor Hill, London. In these new paintings, Wood explores colour, pattern, and space through the treatment of recurring subjects, including plants, family, and interiors. These works are characterised by the collision of contrasting graphic passages, and by sly shifts of scale and perspective.
