Although originally designed to resemble the twisted branches of an advent wreath and be part of seasonal Christmas decorations, this contemporary candleholder is timeless enough to work as a table centrepiece throughout the whole year. Add leaves, flowers or ribbons to customise the object or leave it to stand pure and simple as a piece of minimal art.
Designer Maria Berntsen believes that good design should be a harmonious combination of simplicity and functionalism. Her work is light of touch and connected with natural shapes.
