Sun Setting on Watlass Moor (2019) is a signed limited edition print by Simon Palmer, one of Britain’s leading watercolour artists. It's a work of shadow, mystery and beauty. Classic Palmer ivy-clad trees stretch out bare branches across as the remains of the day create long, deep lines. One can almost smell the scent of the cooling country air.

We have shown Palmer’s work at Salts Mill for almost 30 years. He has exhibited extensively with frequent one-man exhibitions at the Portland Gallery, London. He has also shown at Crane Kalman Gallery, Mercer Art Gallery and Glyndebourne. Palmer is an Honorary Member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
