Abild Archive Tea Towel by Georg Jensen Damask
£16.95
We sell tea towels by Georg Jensen Damask because we've used them in our own kitchens for years and the quality is simply outstanding.
Abild is a classic tea towel featuring harmonious stripes as the dominant design element. The tea towel is woven in a strong linen and cotton blend that offers superior absorbency. Archive is a classic light beige colour inspired by the Danish landscape, the early spring light and beautiful long beaches. The bright colour really accentuates the classic stripes.
- Woven from 50% cotton and 50% linen
- Measurements: 50 x 80 cm
The Abild design was created by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who headed Georg Jensen Damask for many years and was also a driving force in design development.
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look but hey, life is short and they do fold rather beautifully after line-drying...
