Duckling by Hans Bølling

£65.00

Handmade in teak wood, this charming duckling captures the essence of Danish design.

In Spring 1959  a policeman in Frederiksberg stopped the traffic in order to let a young duck family pass.  The newspapers published a now-famous photograph of the ducks crossing the road. Inspired by the traffic-stopping duck family, Hans Bølling designed a pair of small wooden duck figures. This is the duckling; the duck is available on a separate product entry. The smooth, wooden curves  of these beautifully made things are simple yet sophisticated and inspire serenity wherever they are placed. Made in Denmark by ArchitectMade.

Dimensions of Duckling: 9cm high (duck also available, see separate product entry) Material: Teak Wood. Made in Denmark
