Alessi
Designed by Richard Sapper in 1978, the 9090 Espresso Coffee Maker is not only the first espresso coffee maker in Alessi's history, but is also the first Alessi item to be exhibited at MOMA in New York.
"I wanted to give this machinery the features that others do not have." Richard Sapper - With these words, Sapper described the idea from which he started his design process. The 9090 is original not only for its special shape, but also for its functional innovations - for example, the enlarged base that serves to maximise heat, the anti-drip spout and the lever lock that allows one to open the pot with a single fluid gesture.
A truly beautiful object that is also a truly excellent espresso maker, breakfasts are made better with the 9090.
