Marguerita Mergentime Once in a While Napkin Set (4 napkins)

£38.95

The pattern on these cloth napkins, based on one of Marguerita Mergentime's bold textile designs, is formatted so that four different graphic effects can be achieved depending on how the napkin is folded. Mergentime was a ground breaking American textile designer. She made her mark in the 1930s with table linens in bold colours and patterns created to enliven American households. Mergentime worked with some of the best-known designers of the day, including Donald Deskey, Russel Wright, and Frederick Kiesler. Her work was featured in The New Yorker, House & Garden, House Beautiful, and Vogue, as well as newspapers across America. Today her work looks crisper than ever and is justly celebrated in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

The Marguerita Mergentime Once in a While Cloth Napkins are made from 100% cotton. Set of four. Machine washable.
