Against Apartheid poster by Roy Lichtenstein

First edition exhibition poster designed and created by Roy Lichtenstein in 1983 to help fight Apartheid. This superb poster was one of several in a series of artworks donated by well-known artists to raise world awareness on the issue.

This piece is part of the original edition. It is unsigned and not numbered. Printed on smooth, white wove paper.  Reference in 'The Prints of Roy Lichtenstein' by Cortlett on page 279, #III.32 Published by Galerie Maeght-Lelong, Paris, for the benefit of Artists of the World Against Apartheid, in co-operation with the United Nations Special Committee against Apartheid.
