DSW Plastic Dining Chair des Charles and Ray Eames, 1950 (made by Vitra)

£365.00

By: Vitra

Epitomising the playful, functionality of mid-century American design, the DSW Chair by Charles and Ray Eames feels as fresh today as when it was first introduced over 60 years ago

The Eames Plastic Chairs are renewed versions of the legendary Fiberglass Chair. As the very first industrially produced plastic chair, it was originally developed by the Eameses in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the 'Low-Cost Furniture Design' competition organised by the Museum of Modern Art. In the current versions made of polypropylene, these chairs provide even greater comfort.

Pictured here with a light grey seat and golden maple base, price £365. Available to order in many colours and finishes, please contact us for details.
