Hang It All (green), des Charles and Ray Eames, 1953
Used instead of simple hooks, the brightly coloured wooden balls of the 'Hang it all' coat rack are aimed at encouraging children to literally hang up all their things. Thanks to the uniform distance between the balls, multiple coat racks can be mounted side by side for additional storage (they look fantastic if you do this).
'Hang it all' is a cheerful alternative to boring coat hooks for super-cool bedrooms, hallways and boot rooms around the world.
The original colour composition of 'Hang it all' was conceived by Ray Eames. To celebrate her 100th birthday in December 2012, Vitra together with the Eames Office developed three versions of the coat rack in the fresh tones red, green and white. This is the green one which we absolutely love - it's so fresh and vibrant.
